Tommy Carr
mindfulness based approaches

My name is Tommy Carr, I'm a registered Occupational Therapist, mindfulness teacher and forest bathing guide. I have primarily worked in the NHS in mental health since 2007, currently in primary mental health. In my work and study I have developed skills and experience in a range of mindfulness based approaches and I'd love to see if I can offer you or your business a mindfulness based approach that is both grounded in the evidence based experience of mental health intervention and emphasises the fulfilling of your potential.

So, what is 'mindfulness' and what could it do for your business or your employees?

Testimonials

"I recently attended a mindfulness session with Tommy. I was hoping to understand how mindfulness could support me, but also how I could support colleagues and It did exactly that. The course was jam packed with useful information, tips and exercises to help myself be more aware of what I was sensing and feeling and to then in turn understand how to help others do the same through meditation and things like breathing methods. Tommy was great at delivering the session, kept us engaged and had loads of useful information and tips that I will take away with me to help both myself and my colleagues find peace! Thank you Tommy!"

  • Marianna Baschiera - Mindfulness-based Communication and Relationship Coach

"A mindful walk with Tommy along the beach at Sully remains one of my stand out mindful memories for the quality of the experience itself, and as a template for being outdoors mindfully. I’ve really appreciated that over the last few months - recognising the importance of being present and engaging all senses has enhanced my experience of the lovely spring we’ve had this year as well as helped me be resilient enough to get through lockdown. So on all mindfulness fronts - coping, connection, flourishing and empowering change - Tommy’s guided walks and his guided practices on Insight Timer are highly recommended."
